This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed psychologist with training and experience delivering integrated behavioral health services in a primary care setting.
The psychologist will serve as a member of the UCHealth Primary Care team and work in collaboration with other primary care providers to manage the overall health of their patients. The psychologist will assess biopsychosocial functioning as well as deliver targeted interventions for patients in need of behavioral health services. The psychologist will provide warm interdisciplinary hand-offsby identifying, referring and advocating for patients who could benefit from specialty behavioral health services including telepsychiatry. The psychologist will also assist in providing supervision and didactic education in integrated behavioral health-primary care.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of health psychology interventions and evidence-based practices delivered in primary care settings in addition to demonstrated experience facilitating clinical pathways that connect patients with medical and behavioral health conditions to the proper setting of care. The candidate must be comfortable with the fast pace of primary care and working with interdisciplinary teams to provide consultation and co-management in the treatment of behavioral health concerns.
Minimum Required Education: Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD). Licensed psychologist in Colorado or ability to obtain Colorado state licensure prior to employment. Two or more years’ experience in clinical/counseling, primary care, or health psychology.
