UCHealth Medical Group is ready to welcome a Primary Care Physician to join the leadership team as the Denver Metro Primary Care Medical Director.
As the leader of the Medical Practice Leads for the region and specialty, the Medical Director has primary responsibility to:
- Support Physician and APP leaders to promote a culture where the patient comes first in their practices.
- Support Physician and APP leaders to promote continuous improvement in quality, patient safety, and compliance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with their operations dyad partner.
- Lead the regional or service line JOC with their operations dyad partner.
- Provide leadership that is positive, encouraging and accountable through times of change and new/evolving initiatives.
- Support a culture of solutions by identifying issues and bringing forward solutions.
- Provide support to empower MPLs to handle challenging matters at the local level.
- Works closely with regional and service line senior leaders on strategy, performance and change management.
- Identify and lead the improvement strategies and tracking goals with the help of metrics.
Minimum qualifications:
- A physician who has five years of expertise within a specific clinical area and two years of leadership experience, preferably within UCHealth.

This position is for a minimum 0.3 FTE at a rate of $85-$150/hour contingent upon FTE dedicated to the role.
