The regional quality lead has primary responsibility to:
- Partner closely with regional practice transformation coordinator (PTC) and the regional primary care medical director and operations director/practice administrators to drive quality performance in the region.
- Actively participate in monthly UCHealth medical group primary care quality committee meetings and any related quality work group meetings.
- Present quality goals and strategies to regional leadership, providers, and staff; lead JOC quality topics; and directly support clinics in adopting initiatives and achieving success.
- Participate in quality initiative decisions, identify improvement areas, and support the design and rollout of new programs.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of policies, protocols and procedures specific to the quality improvement initiatives that are implemented.
- Occasional regional travel may be required for on-site support of clinics, attending meetings, or participating in quality initiatives.
- Support provider education related to quality workflows, documentation standards, HCC coding and clinical best practices.
Minimum qualifications:
A physician or APP who has expertise within a specific clinical area.

This position will be open for a minimum of 3 days and will remain open until a top candidate is identified. The position posting date is 1/5/2026.
This position is for a 0.1 FTE at a rate of:
- APP: $85 per hour
- Physician: $150 per hour
